Penbro Kelnick manufactures tailormade AC and DC distribution panels for a wide range of industrial and infrastructure applications. Each panel is designed and built in-house at our Pretoria facility and incorporates only SABS-approved components. Panels are configured to the customer's exact requirements — from enclosure type and IP rating to the specific protection relays, metering equipment, alarm systems, and switching devices. All panels are factory-acceptance tested (FAT) before dispatch and supplied with full as-built documentation.

Penbro Kelnick designs and builds Motor Control Centres for a broad range of industrial applications — from single-section fixed-pattern units to multi-section withdrawable MCCs with bus coupler arrangements and full Form 4 separation. Outdoor feeder pillars for LV distribution network applications, built for South African climatic conditions and manufactured to SANS 10142-1 requirements.

Penbro Kelnick manufactures feeder pillars for outdoor installation in low-voltage distribution networks, sub-station yards, and large facility metering points. These units are designed for long-term reliability under South African conditions — from coastal salt-spray to the high UV exposure of the inland plateau. Standard units are constructed in galvanised mild steel or GRP enclosures and are configurable with metering sections, protection devices, and isolators.

Penbro Kelnick designs and assembles protection and relay panels for power system protection in substations, generating plants, and industrial distribution networks. Our relay panels are wired, tested, and configured in accordance with the client's protection philosophy documentation, with each panel factory-tested by secondary injection prior to dispatch. Full as-built documentation is supplied with every panel.
